Description
Sound Transit intends to award a noncompetitive negotiated contract for the Brookville streetcar conversion. The contract involves permanently transferring three Brookville streetcar vehicles from Portland Streetcar for operation on the Tacoma Link (T Line) streetcar system. The contractor will provide all engineering, parts, labor, supervision, removal, retrofit, installation, transportation, testing, commissioning, documentation, and certification activities to make the vehicles fully compatible with Tacoma Link infrastructure and standards. All modification activities will occur within the Tacoma Link Operations and Maintenance Facility or an approved Sound Transit facility. The estimated contract value is $2,400,000.
