Description

The 48th Contracting Squadron at RAF Lakenheath, United Kingdom, seeks feedback/sources of companies capable of providing   a CBRN M4A1 JCAD Simulator or equal for purchase in accordance with the 'Background' description below.

Background:

The product is a simulation of the M4A1 JCAD or equal which is chemical detector used by the Air force.

The M4A1 JCAD-SIM or equal has to be a high-fidelity simulator enabling safe, effective, and environmentally friendly training for chemical warfare and hazardous material scenarios.

Mimics the actual detector, supporting a seamless transition from training to real-world response. Must be easily identifiable as SIM and not real world equipment. Simulator needs to look like the real workd JCAD and function in a way that provides valuable training.

Detects and simulates a wide array of agents, including nerve, blister, and blood agents, toxic industrial chemicals (TICs) and false positives.   Simulate varied conditions like wind direction, temperature shifts, and night vision.   Would like to have a dedicated remote so that instructors can easily set decontamination effectiveness, persistency, and contamination levels.   M4 A1 JCAD -SIM or equal should be able to simulate, CWAs, TICs and False Positives, contamination, decontamination and persistency, effects of wind direction and temperature, Depletion of sieve packs and batteries, Missing sieve pack, Confidence testing.   The M4 A1 JCAD-SIM simulator or equal should be able to respond to electronic sources that simulate chemical vapors, toxic industrial substances or false positives. Training should be able to be deployed anywhere, including inside public buildings. Most scenarios should be able to be set up quickly and able to control the sources and scenario.
