The Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), Structural Validation Branch at Wright-Patterson AFB, is seeking sources for a Polytec VibroFlex Connect or equivalent Fiber Optic Laser Doppler Vibrometer System. - Government Buyer: - Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) - Sub-agency: AFRL/RQVV, Structural Validation Branch - OEM Highlight: - Polytec is the referenced Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) - Products/Systems Requested: - Polytec VibroFlex Connect or equivalent Fiber Optic Laser Doppler Vibrometer System - 1550 nm laser wavelength - Fiber optic lens extender or integrated cable (minimum 6 feet) - Minimum 50 kHz bandwidth - Velocity measurement capability of at least 12.5 m/s - Noise floor below 75 m/s - Functional at standoff distances up to 100 meters - Polytec MDE-Controller Software - Compatible with at least 8 units of the same model, expandable to more than 10 sensors - Integrates with PSV-600-3D and PSV-500-1D sensors - Must be compatible with existing government-owned Polytec software and hardware - Quantities: - 1 system and 1 software license requested - Unique/Notable Requirements: - System must be compatible with existing Polytec hardware/software - Must support integration and expansion for multiple sensors - High standoff measurement capability (up to 100 meters) - Small business sources are specifically sought for market research

Description

The Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base has a requirement for a Polytec VibroFlex Connect Fiber Optic Laser Doppler Vibrometer System.

This is a Sources Sought (SS).  This is not a presolicitation or Request for Quote (RFQ) and is not to be construed as any commitment by the Government. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract and pay for any quote preparation costs.  The Government will not accept quotes at this time.  This notice is not an offer by the Government to enter a contract. Interested Small Business concerns must identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement by closing date listed. Responses will allow the Government to conduct an initial review of market capabilities in support of requirements identified in the Draft Minimum Requirements Document.

SUBMISSION DETAILS: All interested parties are encouraged to submit a response to this Sources Sought. Responses will be accepted until 29 June 2026 at 10 AM Eastern Time and should address the following questions:

1. Company name, cage code, address, point of contact, phone number, and email address

2. Identification of whether the company is currently designated as a Small Business as defined in FAR Part 19.1 and the appropriate category (e.g., 8(a), HubZone, etc.).

3. Company description of relevant capability and experience to provide supplies/services in accordance with the minimum requirements.
