The City of Sausalito Department of Public Works is seeking qualified firms to provide construction management and inspection services for the Safe Pathways to School project at Coloma St. and Ebbtide Ave. - Government Buyer: - City of Sausalito, Department of Public Works, Office of the City Engineer - Scope of Services: - Construction management and inspection for a public works project - Oversight of asphalt pavement replacement, new curb, gutter, sidewalk, curb ramps, raised crosswalks, and installation of Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFBs) - Landscaping, pavement marking, and signage installation - Ensuring contractor compliance with codes and contract documents - Issuing correction notices, monitoring progress, coordinating logistics, maintaining safety protocols, documenting work, managing submittals and RFIs, reviewing invoices, tracking budget and costs, reviewing schedules, recommending change orders, and public communication - Notable Requirements: - Compliance with labor, prevailing wage, and DIR registration regulations - Submission of both hard and electronic copies of proposals and fee schedules - Professional services agreement with a not-to-exceed contract amount - No specific OEMs or product vendors are named; opportunity is open to qualified professional service providers

Description

The City of Sausalito is soliciting proposals for construction management and inspection services for the Safe Pathways to School project located on Coloma St. between Bridgeway and Olema St., and on Ebbtide Ave. at the northerly entrance to the Marin Luther King Facility. The project includes asphalt pavement replacement, new curb, gutter and sidewalk, curb ramps, raised crosswalks, Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFBs), landscaping, pavement marking, and signage. Qualified firms are invited to submit proposals which may lead to a professional services agreement. Proposals must be submitted by June 24, 2026, at 2:00 PM.
