Description
The fiscal year 2026 (FY26) Joint Warfighter Medical Research Program (JWMRP) Military Medical Research and Development Award (MMRDA) mechanism funds the continuation of previous Department of War-funded research and development efforts relevant to the FY26 JWMRP. It supports a wide range of research projects including late-stage preclinical studies, technology development, technology demonstration, translational, and clinical research. Projects must align with at least one of the FY26 JWMRP focus areas. An option is available to support clinical research, trials, and correlative studies involving human subjects or data. Applicants must have previously received DOD/DOW core or Congressional Special Interest funding to be eligible.
