Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Contract

Action: The United States Coast Guard (USCG) hereby provides notice of its intent to award a sole source, firm-fixed-price purchase order to KARDEX REMSTAR

Vendor: Kardex Remstar, LLC NAICS: 333922 Business Size: Large Business

Requirement: The Government requires the service and maintenance of 4 kardex remstar shuttles for SFLC ICP WAREHOUSE. Based on market research, the Government believes Kardex Remstar, LLC is the sole source capable of fulfilling this requirement. This determination is detailed in supporting Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition (J&A).

Statutory Authority: This procurement is conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements," as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1).
