The Defense Intelligence Agency's Design & Fabrication Services (MS/FLS8A) is seeking to procure a Kern OptiFlex 80x120 Laser Cutter & Engraver System with comprehensive accessories and support. - Government Buyer: - Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), Design & Fabrication Services (MS/FLS8A) - OEM Highlight: - Kern is the sole OEM specified for the laser system - Products & Quantities: - 1 x Kern OptiFlex 80" x 120" Laser System with HyperDual Motion Package - Includes KT 500 500W CO2 Laser Source, 3 HP chilling unit, UL electrical panel, chuck rotary package, safety bumper package (Gantry Bumpers & Light Curtain), metal cutting package, K-Vision Camera package, S-focus 5" lens assembly, purge filter assembly, Purex 5000i Fume Extractor - 1 x Coreldraw software (Perpetual license) - 1 x Standalone version of Adobe Illustrator - 1 x PC built to DIA custom specifications (with monitor and preconfigured software) - 1 x Two days onsite training for DIA personnel - Services: - Delivery, installation, calibration, and configuration of the system and accessories - Two days of onsite training for DIA staff - Warranty: 2 years for the laser system, 3 years for laser replacement - Maintenance service response within 48 hours of service calls - Notable Requirements: - All installation and training must be scheduled to minimize operational disruption - Vendor responsible for all delivery, installation, and training costs - System must be delivered and installed by the specified deadline - All software must be installed and preconfigured on a custom PC - Safety and metal cutting packages, as well as fume extraction, are required for compliance and operational safety

The NAICS Code 333517 is currently a preliminary classification. Our agency is seeking input from the industry to identify a more precise code for a Kern Optiflex Laser Cutting & Engraver System.
