Description
This solicitation is for the replacement of the overhead primary electrical service with an underground 13.2 kV system within the southern portion of Saratoga Spa State Park. The work includes removal of existing overhead wires, poles, and equipment; installation of buried duct bank, electric service cables, pullboxes, manholes, transformers, switchgears, and other electrical equipment; coordination with National Grid; conversion of existing transformers; restoration of trenches; horizontal directional drilling under Geyser Creek; installation of streetlight poles; removal of one tree; installation of temporary erosion control measures; and work zone traffic control. The project limits are East-West Road from Route 50 to Route 9 and Geyser Loop Road from East-West Road to the Orenda Pavilion.
