The U.S. Department of State's Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement (INL) at the U.S. Embassy in Bogota is soliciting quotations for the supply and installation of biometric security systems at its Cartagena Office in Colombia. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of State, Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement (INL), U.S. Embassy Bogota - OEM Highlight: - Suprema is the specified Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for biometric hardware and software - Products and Quantities: - 12 Suprema Biosentry 2.0 BEP20A biometric/no-touch door access kits (one per door) - Each kit includes: metal enclosure, 600-900 lb electromagnet, power supply, battery, bracket, biometric reader(s), no-touch sensor(s), door open sensor, labor, cabling, and 1-year warranty - 4 Panic buttons with sirens and deactivation keys (for various doors) - 2 Hydraulic arms for armored doors (doors 2 and 11) - 1 Perpetual BioStar X license (for 12 doors, 14 fingerprint readers, 200 users) - Transport and delivery to Cartagena, Colombia - DBA Insurance (Defense Base Act) for workers - Services: - Installation, cabling, configuration of all biometric systems, panic buttons, hydraulic arms - Training for administration and configuration of the BioStar X system - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All equipment must be compatible with the existing BIOSTAR system in Bogota - Delivery, installation, and configuration must be completed within 30 days after order receipt - 1-year warranty on all equipment and installation - Technical support and updates for BioStar X license for 1 year - Support and maintenance must be provided in Colombia

Description

The International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs Office (INL) in Bogota has a requirement for the BIOMETRICS CARTAGENA OFFICE for Colombia.  

All interested sellers should submit the quotations according to the attached INL_RFQ-PR16069207 no later than June 29, 2026 at 4:00 pm via e-mail to AlejoA@state.gov and BogotaINLSolicitation@state.gov. No quotations will be accepted after this time.  

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested by this notice alone, and a written solicitation will not be issued.  To be considered for award, please follow the instructions included in Section 3 of the INL-RFQ Document.
