This opportunity seeks vendors to upgrade the security and access control systems at the VA Central Iowa Health Care System's Building 27 Warehouse. - Government Buyer: - Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Central Iowa Health Care System - OEMs and Vendors: - Hirsch (highlighted as the required access control system OEM) - Vendors must be Hirsch Group Certified System Integrators - Products/Services Requested: - 3 Hirsch Scrambleprox card readers (installed at multiple doors) - 5 motion detectors (for warehouse and corridor coverage) - 1 automatic door operator with ADA-accessible push button (integrated with Hirsch relay output board) - Hirsch input and relay boards (integrated with existing Hirsch panel) - Approximately 470 linear feet of cabling, conduit, and junction boxes - System programming, device enrollment, commissioning, and integration with existing Hirsch system - End-user training for VA warehouse staff - Fire caulking and firestopping installation at penetrations through fire-rated barriers - Unique/Notable Requirements: - System must integrate with the existing Hirsch access control system - All supplies must comply with the Buy American Act; vendors must state the place of manufacture - Removal of old devices, labeling, documentation, and comprehensive testing required - End-user training and full event alarm reporting to VA Police are mandatory - Contractor must provide firestopping in compliance with VA, NFPA, and local codes - NAICS code: 561621 (Security Systems Services)

NCO 23 Contracting is requesting information for small businesses who offer the following goods or equivalent. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY: The market research is looking to identify potential vendors who have the capabilities to offer the following:

Upgrade Building 27 Warehouse Security System and Access Controls per attached performance work statement (PWS).

Interested vendors must provide proof they are Hirsch Group Certified System Integrators with their response to this notice.

The Buy American Act applies to the supplies portion of the requirement. In your responses you must include the place of manufacture for the above items or equal items that can satisfy this requirement.
