Description
This is a Sources Sought Notice issued solely for information and planning purposes. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding market capacity and potential set-asides and to receive industry feedback on current processes and market costs. This notice does not constitute a Request for Proposal nor does it serve as a presolicitation notice for a future solicitation. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development is not seeking proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals related to these services. This notice does not commit the Government to procure any supply or service mentioned herein.
Background
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Office of Administration (OA) anticipates a need for maintenance and support services for approximately 177 defibrillators deployed across all HUD offices nationwide. A draft scope is attached to this notice that describes HUD’s anticipated requirements.
OA is seeking information regarding potential vendors to provide the required services at all locations, along with set-aside types (small business, HUBZone, etc.).
OA is also seeking industry comment on the attached Performance Work Statement as well as input on the attached questions. This is being requested for market research purposes only.

Summary
This notice is issued for information purposes only and will not result in a contract award. This is not a Request for Proposal. Interested parties are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice. Responding or declining to respond to this notice will not preclude a party from participating in any future Requests for Quotation should the Government decide to issue such a request at a later date. If a Request for Quotation is issued, it will be posted as a separate notice.
