The U.S. Department of Labor's Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) is seeking a contractor for comprehensive asphalt replacement and sealing services at its Approval and Certification Center campus in Triadelphia, WV. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of Labor, Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA), Approval and Certification Center (A&C) - Scope of Work: - Removal and disposal of existing asphalt at Buildings 2 & 3 - Installation of new hot mix asphalt, including leveling and finish courses - Milling and construction of concrete collars around storm water catch basins (Building 2 only) - Sealing of asphalt edges with hot flexible rubberized tar topped with black sand - Cleaning, crack filling with hot applied crack sealant, and sealcoating of existing asphalt at Building 1 - Application of hot tar at asphalt/concrete interfaces, topped with black sand - Re-striping of all parking lots and driveways using DOT-approved paint, matching current configurations - Contractor Requirements: - Provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to complete the work - Products/Services Requested: - Asphalt replacement, sealing, crack filling, sealcoating, and re-striping - No specific OEMs, brands, or part numbers are specified - Notable Requirements: - Work must be completed within 90 days of notice to proceed - Includes both new asphalt installation and maintenance (sealing, crack filling, striping) - Concrete collar construction required around storm water catch basins in Building 2

Description

This contract will require a vendor to provide all the resources needed to remove and dispose of existing asphalt, install new asphalt, seal existing asphalt and re-stripe all parking lots and driveways. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to demolish/dispose of and install new asphalt, seal existing asphalt and re-striping all parking lots and driveways in various areas of MSHA’s Approval and Certification Center’s campus
