The U.S. Coast Guard Base Ketchikan is seeking contractors for garage door system maintenance and the supply of removable bollard systems. - Government Buyer: - Department of Homeland Security - United States Coast Guard - USCG Base Ketchikan - OEMs and Vendors: - AO Smith (garage door operator motor) - Products/Services Requested: - Inspection, adjustment, and repair of the Small Boat Station Boathouse garage door system, including: - 7-panel garage door (with 1 four-pane glass panel) - AO Smith Model 2H01 Type C mechanical operator motor - All tools, materials, consumable parts, and a 45ft aerial work platform to be provided by contractor - 45 removable bollard systems, each including: - 6" diameter x 48" tall solid Schedule 40 steel, powder coated yellow, new - Compatible embedment sleeves (45 units) - Compatible embedment sleeve covers (45 units) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All bollard materials must comply with the Buy America Act - No mechanical locking mechanisms for bollards - Contractor must provide all necessary equipment for garage door work - Work to address known issues with the garage door counterbalance system - All work to be performed on-site during specified weekday hours - Delivery of bollard materials required within two months of award
