This opportunity is for certified laboratories to provide analytical testing services for the City of Santa Barbara's water and wastewater systems. - Government Buyer: - City of Santa Barbara, General Services Division, Water Resources Laboratory (WR Lab) - Scope of Services: - Comprehensive laboratory analysis for water, wastewater, biosolids, and related samples - Testing categories include: - Chemistry, microbiology, radiologicals, organic compounds, disinfection byproducts, algal toxins, PFAS, metals, toxicity, and more - Services cover both routine regulatory compliance and special project testing - Sample sources include: - Groundwater, surface water, water distribution systems, wastewater discharge, biosolids, recycled water, stormwater, and industrial waste - Laboratories must be CA-ELAP certified and demonstrate expertise consistent with leading environmental labs - Sample pickup and electronic data deliverables are required - Must comply with the City’s Living Wage Ordinance - Liquidated damages apply for delays - Products/Services Requested (see Tables A–Q): - Lump sum laboratory testing services for each analyte category (e.g., chemistry, microbiology, PFAS, biosolids) - Shorter turnaround time (rush analysis) available for an additional cost - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; open to all qualified, certified laboratories - Notable Requirements: - Electronic bid submission and mandatory completion of a Project Parameter excel form - Contract term is two years, with up to three one-year renewals (maximum five years)
