Alachua County Facilities Management is seeking qualified contractors for annual fire protection repairs, maintenance, and new installations at county-owned facilities under a Job Order Contract (JOC). - Government Buyer: - Alachua County Facilities Management Department - Scope of Work: - Annual fire protection system repairs, maintenance, and new installations - Includes fire alarm systems, fire protection equipment and systems, and fire extinguisher maintenance and repair - Work assigned via individual job orders on an as-needed basis - Products/Services Requested: - Fire alarm systems, power sirens, and controls (supply, installation, maintenance, repair) - Fire protection equipment and systems (inspection, maintenance, repair of hydrants, sprinklers, smoke detectors, fire barriers) - Fire extinguisher maintenance and repair - Requirements: - Contractors must hold all relevant State of Florida licenses for fire protection systems (Type I and II, Class A Fire Equipment Dealer, Alarm System Contractor or Electrical Contractor, Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester Certification) - Technicians must have all required state permits - Pre-established unit pricing and competitively bid adjustment factors - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation
