Description
The U.S. International Trade Commission has scheduled the final phase of antidumping and countervailing duty investigations to determine if the U.S. industry is materially injured or threatened by imports of van-type trailers and subassemblies from Canada, China, and Mexico. These products are classified under subheadings 8716.39.00 and 8716.90.50 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States. The investigations follow preliminary determinations by the U.S. Department of Commerce that imports from China and Mexico are subsidized. The scope includes various subassemblies and components of van-type trailers, whether finished or unfinished, assembled or unassembled, with a gross vehicle weight rating over 26,000 pounds.
