Description
The Postal Service is amending the Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, Domestic Mail Manual (DMM) to discontinue the mailing of parcels with Priority Mail Express and Priority Mail Open and Distribute service. This final rule will take effect on January 17, 2027. The service will continue to provide options for expedited letter or flat mailings to destination postal facilities, but parcel mailers will need to use negotiated service agreements.
