Waller Independent School District (WISD) is seeking proposals for comprehensive fire safety system services and equipment across all district facilities. - Government Buyer: - Waller Independent School District (WISD), Purchasing Department - Products and Equipment Requested: - Fire alarm systems and related devices (smoke detectors, pull stations, heat detectors, duct detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, beams, strobe lights, speakers, horns) - Fire extinguishers (5 lb ABC, 10 lb ABC, 6-liter K-Guard, 20 lb CO2, Class K, Halon) - Fire sprinkler system supplies and equipment (including risers, pumps, antifreeze systems, hose valves, stand pipes) - Kitchen suppression systems (including vent hoods) - Backflow prevention devices (above ground, in ground, fire line, domestic line) - Services Requested: - Annual and periodic inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems (including sensitivity and audibility tests) - Fire sprinkler system inspections (annual, 3-year, 5-year) - Kitchen suppression system inspections (annual, semi-annual, 12-year replacement, hydrostatic testing) - Fire extinguisher inspections (annual, 6-year, 12-year, hydrostatic testing) - Backflow testing and inspection - Fire hydrant, stand pipe, antifreeze system, and hose valve inspections - Service and repair (hourly rates for normal and after hours, including fire panel programming) - Notable Requirements: - Pricing must be provided per system, unit, or test as specified - Vendors must specify which manufacturers' parts can be supplied for extinguishers - Only Amerex, Advantage, and Badger brands are accepted for 12-year extinguisher replacements - Discount percentages for supplies, materials, and service/repair may be offered - Compliance with Texas-specific certifications and background checks is required - No specific OEMs for alarm or sprinkler systems are mandated, but Amerex, Advantage, and Badger are required for certain extinguisher replacements

Waller Independent School District (WISD) is soliciting Request For Proposals (RFP 270-2026) for Fire Alarms, Sprinklers, Fire Extinguishers and Backflow Testing, Inspection, Service, Supplies & Equipment. The solicitation requires proposals to be submitted by June 23, 2026, at 2:00 PM CT. WISD prefers online submissions via their electronic system but will accept sealed proposals delivered to their Administration Office. No fax or email submissions are accepted. The district reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and may waive minor irregularities.
