Description
The Tribal Wildlife Grants program provides technical and financial assistance to federally recognized Tribes for developing and implementing programs that benefit fish, wildlife, and their habitats. Funding supports a wide range of activities including conservation planning, management actions, research, habitat mapping, surveys, protection, enhancement, and education. Eligible applicants are federally recognized Native American tribal governments. The program expects to award approximately 80 grants ranging from $25,000 to $200,000 each, with a total funding of $6,200,000. Applications must be submitted by August 14, 2026.
