Description

Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound (FLCPS), on behalf of Military Sealift Command (MSC) intends to solicit for direct replacement of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) EVOQUA WATER TECHNOLOGIES LLC DBA XYLEM, Chloropac Cell Assembly Parts. This requirement is being solicited as a brand name small business set-aside for OEM Evoqua Water Technologies due to MSC directed to only use OEM parts on this vessel’s operational and mission critical equipment aboard MSC Fleet Vessels per COMSCINST 4490.1.Procuring non-Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts would fail to guarantee the precise form, fit, and function necessary for seamless integration, introducing severe risks of seawater leakage, electrical hazards, and diminished chlorine generation. Interested companies may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, which will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will evaluate the offeror’s price for reasonableness and past performance as part of the responsibility determination in accordance with RFO 12.203. Quotes will be evaluated in accordance with RFO 12.203, the Government will select the most advantageous offer based on the following evaluation factors: technical including delivery date, price, and past performance in no order of relative importance.
