The National Institute of Corrections (NIC), under the U.S. Department of Justice, is seeking a partner to deliver its proprietary Staffing Analysis Implementation Program through Virtual Instructor Led Training (VILT). - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of Justice, National Institute of Corrections (NIC) - OEMs and Vendors: - NIC is the sole OEM, as the program is based on its proprietary methodology and curriculum - Products/Services Requested: - Delivery of five VILT iterations of the Staffing Analysis Implementation Program - Two iterations for federal and state prisons - Three iterations for local and tribal jails - Each iteration serves up to four facilities, with five-member teams (up to 20 participants per iteration) - Live virtual instruction, structured intersession assignments, individualized coaching, and completion of staffing analyses for custodial line officers and first-line supervisors - Contracting and compensating Technical Resource Providers (TRPs)/Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for training delivery and support - Program evaluation, reporting, and at least two national conference presentations - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Must use NIC's latest curriculum and obtain approval for all TRPs/SMEs - Strict eligibility: only nonprofit, for-profit, and higher education institutions (no federal agencies, government entities, or foreign organizations) - No profit/fee for service allowed; proof of nonprofit status or tribal resolution required - Total funding capped at $200,000 for a 12-month project period

Description

The National Institute of Corrections (NIC) is offering a cooperative agreement to provide the corrections community with opportunities to participate in Virtual Instructor Led Training (VILT) for staffing analysis. This program aims to enhance and expand staffing analysis training and technical assistance for federal, state, local, and tribal corrections agencies. The training includes step-by-step instruction and actual completion of a staffing analysis for custodial line officers and first-line supervisors at participating agencies. Participants receive live virtual instruction, structured assignments, and individualized coaching throughout the training.
