Description
The FAIROS Program supports transformative open science activities including research, education, and cyberinfrastructure development to advance sustainable multi-disciplinary FAIR research data management and open science capabilities. It aims to pilot new models of scientific communication, develop data portals and research data commons, and lower barriers to data access and management across disciplines. The program supports innovation in accessibility, data curation, research data management, discoverability, reproducibility, preservation, sustainability, and utility of research products. Proposals must select either Disciplinary Improvements or Cross-Cutting Improvements tracks and are accepted only as standard research proposals.
