Description
The NIH Common Fund, along with other NIH Institutes and Centers, plans to publish a Notice of Funding Opportunity for the Precision Medicine with Artificial Intelligence - Integrating Imaging with Multimodal Data (PRIMED-AI) program. This program seeks to develop innovative AI-based tools that integrate clinical imaging with other health data to improve personalized medicine for patients with chronic and other health conditions. The Playbook initiative will fund projects that create frameworks for responsible use of PRIMED-AI models, error mitigation, data management, and preparation for regulatory approval. Applications are not currently being solicited, but investigators with relevant expertise are encouraged to consider applying when the opportunity opens.
