Description
This NOFO aims to support district, state, and national public health systems in India to advance GHSA priorities for preventing, detecting, and responding to infectious disease threats. The CDC will collaborate with the Government of India to strengthen capacity for controlling disease outbreaks and neutralizing public health threats. The initiative will transition CDC-supported GHSA efforts to Indian institutions, focusing on enhancing public health capacity through a One Health approach in five key areas: workforce, disease surveillance, laboratory systems, emergency preparedness and response, and antimicrobial resistance.
