Description
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to publish a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) to solicit applications for NIBIB Technology Development Network Coordinating Centers. These centers aim to bring scientific and engineering communities together to solve translational problems and enhance integration between network components by facilitating collaborations across technology development projects. The centers will also disseminate program advances, develop resources and outreach strategies, and manage an Opportunity Funds program to support promising small-scale work advancing translational development of innovative platform technologies. Applications are not being solicited at this time; this notice allows potential applicants time to develop collaborations and responsive projects. The NOFO will utilize the U24 activity code and encourages collaborative partnerships combining expertise in engineering and translation.
