The County of Bedford is seeking bids for the construction of a new 37,290 square foot office building for the Department of Social Services. The project includes housing office and training/assembly spaces as indicated in the contract documents. Bids are to be prepared on a single-prime, lump sum basis and will be received until 3:00 PM local time on July 31, 2026. A pre-bid meeting and site visit will be held on July 9, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Bedford County Gym. Bid security of 5% is required, and performance and payment bonds will be required from the successful contractor.
