Description
The New York City Mayor’s Office of Criminal Justice (MOCJ) seeks proposals to provide transition services across all five boroughs of NYC for individuals leaving city jails, youth detention, and state prisons. The program aims to reduce reincarceration by offering person-centered reentry services including case management, mental health, substance use treatment, healthcare, financial literacy, mentoring, education, and employment support. The initiative builds on the existing Community Justice Re-entry Network (CJRN) and focuses on serving individuals within 90 days post-release. The contract will support approximately 9,000 participants annually with a goal to stabilize individuals in the community and reduce repeat criminal legal system involvement.
