Description
The New York State Department of Health AIDS Institute intends to extend eleven contracts for one month to prevent a gap in services while the next competitive procurement is completed. These programs provide hepatitis C outreach, testing, care coordination, peer delivered services, treatment, and cure. These services support New York State's goal of eliminating hepatitis C by 2030. A gap in services before the new funding cycle begins would result in patients being lost to care and reduced access to hepatitis C treatment. Due to the specific circumstances and unique qualifications of the selected entities, a competitive procurement was not feasible.
