The California Employment Development Department (EDD) is seeking bids for the installation and upgrade of alarm system dialers and panels at three California Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board (CUIAB) facilities in San Jose, Fresno, and Salinas. - Government Buyer: - California Employment Development Department (EDD), Contract Services Group, for the California Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board (CUIAB) - OEMs and Vendors: - Radionix (specified for all major alarm system components) - Products/Services Requested: - Radionix B8512G Intrusion Control Panel with 12 Volt 7AH battery (3 units) - Radionix B444-V2 Plug-in Cellular Communicator / Dialer (3 units) - Radionix B208 Eight Zone Expander (3 units) - Installation, programming, and setup of all alarm system components, including cellular service establishment - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Contractor must hold a valid C-7 (Low Voltage Systems Contractor) or C-10 (Electrical Contractor) license - Compliance with prevailing wage laws is required - Work includes inspections, consultation, safety hazard reporting, and a final acceptance walkthrough - DVBE (Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise) participation is waived, but a DVBE incentive is available - All labor, materials, and equipment must be provided by the contractor - Service area covers three Northern California counties (Fresno, Monterey, Santa Clara)
