Molina; Contracting: Akiko Ota - Scope of Work: - Removal of degraded insulation and lagging - Installation of new insulation materials in various ship spaces (piping, ventilation ducts, bulkheads) - Products Requested: - Wide range of insulation materials, including: - Pipe coverings (various sizes, e.g., 1/2" to 8" IPS) - Acoustic insulation, fire insulation, mineral wool, hullboard, and sandwich panels - Adhesives (MIL-DTL-3316D, MIL-A-24179A, fire-resistant types) - Tapes (aluminum, glass cloth, various widths) - Accessories: dome caps, speed clips, wire mesh, glass cloth, sealing compounds - Quantities range from single units to hundreds (e.g., 400 dome caps, 336 mineral wool filters, 120 fire insulation blankets) - All items specified with part numbers and detailed descriptions - Notable Requirements: - Only firms with a current Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) or Agreement for Boat Repair (ABR) in Japan, or those willing to execute such agreements prior to award, are eligible - Contractors must be authorized to perform work in Japan and comply with DFARS 252.225-7042 - Work must be performed at Commander, Fleet Activities Sasebo (CFAS), Japan - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or manufacturers are named in the solicitation or attachments - Some products reference brands (e.g., K-FLEX ECO, FYREWRAP by Unifrax, Venture Tape, Pelican 301A), but these are not mandated as sole sources - Period of Performance: - Approximately 3 months, from late July to late October - Contract Type: - Firm fixed price job order

Place of Performance: Commander, Fleet Activities Sasebo (CFAS) in Japan.

The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Yokosuka Site SASEBO will issue a competitive solicitation to Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) and capable Agreement for Boat Repair (ABR) holders in "Japan only".

Please ensure that your company meets these criteria and provides any necessary documentation to demonstrate your authorization to perform this work in Japan.

Contractors located OUTSIDE Japan that do NOT unambiguously demonstrate compliance with DFARS 252.225-7042 will NOT be eligible to receive an award. Any Offeror who do NOT possess an active MSRA or ABR in the Japan Region, or does NOT agree to execute a master agreement (MSRA/ABR) in the Japan Region before award of a job order, will NOT be eligible to receive an award.
