This announcement is for information and planning purposes.  It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. 

The California Air National Guard, 146th Airlift Wing (146th AW) Channel Islands ANG Station, Port Hueneme has a requirement entitled: 146 MXG LMR Refresh

The 146th AW intends to solicit quotes from at least three (3) interested sources in accordance with RFO FAR 12.201-1 Simplified procedures.  This is expected to be 100% set aside for a Small Business competition after approvals are completed and is intended to result in award of one (1) firm-fixed price contract with an expected contract delivery/contract completion date of 29 January 2027 or sooner.

The general salient characteristics of the requirement include but are not limited to:

This Sources Sought/Pre-solicitation Notice is not a Request for Quote (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP), or an Invitation for Bid (IFB).

This Notice is published for this proposed action in accordance with RFO FAR 5.101(a).  The 146 Wing will provide more information in the official solicitation.  Quotes will be due no less than 10 days from the date the solicitation is issued.  The definitive due date and time will be stated in the solicitation and any associated amendments that may be issued.
