NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE
Project: Preventative Maintenance, Repair, and Support Services for GERSTEL Multipurpose Robotic Sampler Workstations Announcement No.: FDA-26-1289292
The Government hereby submits a notice of intent to award a sole source contract to GERSTEL, Inc. for preventative maintenance inspections, repair services, and technical support for GERSTEL Multipurpose Robotic Sampler Workstations, including all labor, parts, consumables, travel, and OEM-required service activities. The period of performance will consist of a base year plus four (4) option years. The NAICS code for this action is 811210. This hereby constitutes a synopsis of this requirement. This procurement is made under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) and/or 10 U.S.C. 3204 (as applicable) for other than full and open competition due to only one responsible source. The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government, would not be cost or time prohibitive, and would not hinder the mission objective. Any other firms desiring consideration must fully identify their interest and capability to provide this service or submit a capability statement within 7 days to the individual listed. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice. This is NOT a request for quotes or proposals.
