Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Walla Walla District, is issuing this special notice to inform industry of the intent to solicit and negotiate solely with the Garfield County, Sheriff’s Office for Law Enforcement Services.
A class justification and approval not to compete this proposed contract has been made Pursuant to 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(5) or 41 U.S.C.3304(a)(5) as implemented by RFO 6.103-5(b)(1), when full and open competition need not be provided for when– (i) A statute expressly authorizes or requires that the acquisition be made through another agency or from a specified source. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures, only one source is reasonable available. The Corps has proprietary jurisdiction within federal regulations over all Corps of Engineers administered lands and waters, and the Garfield County Sheriff Department has jurisdiction to enforce all state and local laws that exist.
