The City of Georgetown is seeking qualified architectural firms to provide comprehensive design and construction administration services for a new Fire Station No. 8. - Government Buyer: - City of Georgetown, Purchasing Department and Public Works - Project Scope: - Full architectural services for a new, approximately 12,000 sq. ft. fire station at 1901 Westinghouse Rd, Georgetown, TX - Includes design, bidding assistance, construction administration, and warranty support - Facility features: three apparatus bays, 12 sleeping rooms, offices, living spaces, kitchen/dining, dayroom, fitness room, gear storage, EMS and decontamination areas, and various support spaces - Site improvements and utility coordination required - Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) delivery method; CMAR to be engaged near end of schematic design - Geotechnical services already contracted - Requirements: - Firms must demonstrate experience with fire/emergency facilities and CMAR projects - Experience in MEP and civil engineering, including TCEQ and Edwards Aquifer compliance - Coordination with city departments and contracted vendors - Compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws - No specific OEMs or product part numbers are identified, as this is a professional services solicitation - Notable Facility Line Items: - 3 apparatus bays (pull-through, bifold and sectional doors, direct capture, BA fan, heaters, exhaust fans, trench drains) - 12 private, ADA-compliant sleeping rooms - Specialized rooms: SCBA, EMS decon, comms, mechanical, electric, utility, gear/PPE, shop, riser room - Living and support spaces: kitchen/dining, dayroom, patio, fitness room, offices, bathrooms, storage - The project will use a phased approach: design, bidding, construction, and warranty support

Description

The City of Georgetown is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified Individuals, Firms, or Corporations with substantial and relevant experience and expertise to provide Architectural Services for a Georgetown Fire Station No 8. The successful respondent must meet all requirements of the RFQ, maintain proper licensing, and comply with all federal, state, and local laws and mandates relative to the services specified. SOQs must be electronically submitted through the City E-bid system by June 16, 2026, at 2:00 PM CT. A non-mandatory pre-proposal meeting will be held in person on June 2, 2026, at 9 AM CT.
