Description
The City of El Monte, on behalf of the Community & Economic Development Department, is seeking proposals from qualified law firms or attorneys to provide Code Enforcement Counsel and Community Prosecutor Services. The selected firm will provide comprehensive legal services related to municipal code enforcement, nuisance abatement, receivership actions, administrative enforcement proceedings, illegal business enforcement, dangerous building enforcement, and related civil litigation matters. The City prefers firms with experience representing California public agencies in municipal enforcement and proactive enforcement strategies to protect public health, safety, and welfare. The engagement is anticipated to be a three-year term with possible extensions.
