The City of El Monte is seeking qualified local hotels, motels, and lodges to provide temporary emergency lodging services for individuals and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness. - Government Buyer: - City of El Monte, Community & Economic Development Department, Housing Division - Scope of Services: - Provision of temporary and/or emergency overnight shelter services on an as-needed basis - Services must include: - ADA-compliant habitable rooms - 24-hour staff availability - Reservation and tracking system usage - Minimum of three rooms available for one-week stays - Early check-in and late check-out options - No deposits required from guests - Cleaning, utilities, laundry, and supplies included - Funding and Eligibility: - Funded by Los Angeles County Department of Homeless Services and Housing via Local Solution Funds (Measure A) - Open to all qualified local hotels, motels, lodges, and similar entities - Proposal Requirements: - Providers must demonstrate experience, capability, and competitive pricing - Insurance, licensing, and compliance with city terms required - Pricing proposals should include all-inclusive daily and weekly room rates - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; opportunity is open to all qualified local providers - Contract Term: - Initial term of approximately 12 months, with options for two additional one-year extensions at the City's discretion

The City of El Monte, on behalf of the Community & Economic Development Department, is soliciting proposals from qualified local hotels, motels, lodges, and other entities to provide temporary and/or emergency overnight shelter services for persons experiencing homelessness or at-risk of homelessness. The services will be funded through Los Angeles County Department of Homeless Services and Housing via Local Solution Funds from Measure A. The scope includes provision of temporary emergency lodging services for homeless or at-risk individuals. Proposals can be submitted electronically or in paper format, and the solicitation is open to local entities without restrictions.
