Franklin County, NY is seeking bids for the turnkey construction and installation of Musco Poles and related wireless/network infrastructure at four sites as part of its Municipal Infrastructure Program (MIP) Phase 3. - Government Buyer: - Franklin County Purchasing Department - OEMs Highlighted: - Musco Lighting LLC (manufacturer of Musco Poles) - Products and Equipment: - Four (4) Musco galvanized tapered steel monopoles (95-foot, owner provided) - Precast concrete base foundations (4 units) - Climbing facilities, mounts, handholes, utility, and grounding connections (4 sets) - Network and wireless equipment including microwave backhaul radios, Tarana Fixed Wireless access point radios, network cabinets, rectifiers, batteries, power systems, cabling, connectors, surge protection, mounting hardware, and accessories (some owner furnished, remainder to be supplied by contractor) - Services Requested: - Complete turnkey installation, including delivery, acceptance, foundation placement, pole erection, wireless/network equipment installation, grounding, conduit stub-outs, system testing, commissioning, and QA documentation - All work to be performed under supervision of Hudson Valley Wireless ISP and Construction Manager - Notable Requirements: - Musco pole installation must be performed by a vendor listed on Musco Lighting LLC's approved vendor list - Compliance with OSHA, NEC, FCC, and prevailing wage laws is mandatory - Bidders may bid on the entire scope or specific portions - Evaluation based on reliability, experience, quality, technical compliance, schedule, and safety/restoration approach - Warranty period of one year from final acceptance - Project funded by the New York State ConnectAll Office - Complete technical requirements and construction documents available on the County website

Franklin County is soliciting bids for a fixed-price contract to construct and install Musco Poles and related wireless and network infrastructure. The scope includes delivery, acceptance, and installation of pole foundations, poles, associated hardware, aperture, climbing hardware, stacking, wireless and network equipment, cabling, testing, and service turn-up. The Musco Pole and some network equipment will be provided by the County, while the contractor must supply all other labor and materials. Bids are due by June 29, 2026, and must be submitted in hard copy format to Franklin County's Purchasing Department.
