The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) is seeking a contractor for a Master Agreement to provide comprehensive High Voltage Equipment Maintenance and Repair Services across its statewide institutions and youth facilities. - Government Buyer: - California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) - Division of Administrative Services, Office of Business Services, Contracts Management Branch, Master Contracts Unit - Scope of Work: - Annual preventive maintenance, inspection, calibration, testing, and repair of high voltage equipment - Equipment includes: transformers (oil-filled and dry type), switchgear, relays (various types), circuit breakers, power poles, meters, switches, batteries, and associated components - Services include both scheduled and emergency repairs, with specified response times - Continuous load recording and oil sampling are required - Products/Services Requested: - Over 60 line items for preventive maintenance and testing of high voltage components (e.g., Main Switchgear, Relays, Transformers, Circuit Breakers) - High volume of repair services: 200 scheduled repairs, 200 emergency repairs during business hours, 100 emergency repairs outside business hours - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Contractor must hold a valid California Contractors State License Board "C-10" (Electrical) or "B" (General Building) license - All work must comply with CCR Title 8, NEC, NFPA 70E, California General Order 95, ANSI, ASTM, and International Electrical Testing Association standards, as well as OEM specifications - Labor and materials must be guaranteed - Small businesses, microbusinesses, and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBE) are encouraged to participate - Bidders are not required to bid on all locations - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or manufacturers are named in the solicitation or attachments - Estimated Contract Value: - Not specified; based on scope, likely in the mid- to high-six figures annually

Description

This solicitation is for a Master Agreement under which the Contractor will perform High Voltage Equipment Maintenance and Repair Services for the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR). Services include maintenance, inspection, calibration, continuous load recording, testing, and repairs of specified equipment at CDCR locations. Compensation will be based on rates specified in Exhibit B-1, covering all labor, transportation, materials, tools, permits, licenses, taxes, fees, and other necessary expenses. The work must comply with various electrical safety codes and standards, and the Contractor must guarantee both labor and materials for all services provided.
