Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Regional Office Huntington West Virginia, 640 Fourth Avenue, Huntington WV 25701, intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract to SMITHS DETECTION INC. (UEI: FHKLJV1NP651 | CAGE Code: 23667), located at 2202 Lakeside Blvd, Edgewood, MD 21040-1102. The procurement is for a Maintenance Service Agreement associated with an X-Ray Machine manufactured by SMITHS DETECTION INC. for a period of performance of five years (Base + 4 Option Years). This action is being conducted under RFO Part 12. The statutory authority permitting the restriction to competition is RFO 12.102(a), such that only one source is available.
