DOE Seeks Lease of 70,000–90,000 Sq Ft Furnished Office Space in Schenectady/Southern Saratoga, NY

The Department of Energy (DOE), through Fluor Marine Propulsion, LLC (FMP), is seeking sources for leasing a large, contiguous, furnished office space in the Schenectady/Southern Saratoga area of New York. - Requirement for 70,000 to 90,000 square feet of contiguous, furnished office space - Must accommodate approximately 400 office seats - Includes reserved parking, facility support services, a food service area, and a 2,800 sq ft stockroom - Lease term is 5 years, with occupancy beginning upon completion of the selection process - Proposals must detail building specifications, rent rates, and energy efficiency features - DOE will consider alternative spaces if they are economically advantageous, factoring in relocation costs, tenant improvements, telecommunication infrastructure, and potential downtime - No specific OEMs or commercial vendors are named in the solicitation - The procurement is for real estate leasing, not for products with part numbers or quantities

Description

FMP currently occupies office and related space in a building under a lease in Schenectady, NY, that will be expiring.  FMP will consider alternative space if economically advantageous.  In making this determination, FMP will consider, among other things, the availability of alternative space that potentially can satisfy FMP’s requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, and non-productive downtime.

FMP is interested in leasing 70,000 – 90,000 square feet of contiguous office space (furnished).
