This procurement opportunity is for the supply, delivery, installation, and removal of 102 sets of solid hardwood dormitory furniture at Aviano Air Base, Italy, for Building 1427. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Air Force, 31st Fighter Wing (USAFE), 31st Contracting Squadron at Aviano Air Base, Italy - Dormitory Facilities, Building 1427 - Products/Services Requested: - 102 sets of solid hardwood bedroom furniture, each set including: - Four Drawer Under Bed Storage Unit with low profile wheels - Three Drawer Chest - Three Shelf Bookcase (mounted to chest) - Three Drawer Nightstand - One Drawer Desk with full-width drawer - Two Position Chair with upholstered seat and back - Slat Bed on metal legs - Fireproof Mattress (size 100cm x 205cm x 22cm) - Removal and disposal of existing furniture and packing waste in accordance with local laws - Installation and assembly of all new furniture, with all labor, equipment, and materials provided by the contractor - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All furniture must be fabricated from solid hardwoods (e.g., Oak or Maple), finished in cherry color, and meet specified dimensions and quality standards - Installation must be self-supported (no wall or floor modifications) and completed within 6 weeks after delivery - Removal and installation must occur on the same day for each room - Fireproof mattresses are specifically required - Contractor must coordinate access, provide all tools, and comply with local disposal regulations - No specific OEMs or brands are mandated; technical specifications are performance-based - All items must be delivered and installed within 90-120 working days from order receipt

AMENDMENT #1:

The purpose of this amendment is to add unit quantity to CLIN #10 (Fireproof Mattress) on Attachment 1 – Technical Specification 1426 

The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, parts, and transportation for supply, delivery, removal and disposal of current, and installation and assembly of new bedroom furniture for 102 rooms of Dorms Facilities, bldg. 1427 at Aviano Air Base, Italy.
