Description
Based on the Statement of Work, the contractor will provide the services necessary to prepare a comprehensive Environmental Assessment (EA) for the repair of an overhead 70kV transmission line at Vandenberg Space Force Base. This includes project management, data collection, and extensive coordination with government and regulatory stakeholders. The core of the work involves conducting detailed technical analyses of the project's impact on cultural resources, natural resources (including wetlands and special status species), and construction noise. The contractor will produce a series of documents, including a Description of Proposed Action and Alternatives (DOPAA) and various technical reports. Ultimately, this effort will result in a legally sufficient EA document that will lead to a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI), a mitigated FONSI, or a determination that a full Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) is necessary. Interested vendors shall submit a capability statement and other relevant information NLT 30 June 2026 at 1400 PDT.
