This opportunity involves the construction and development of a new potable groundwater production well at the Terrytown Administrative Site in the Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre, and Gunnison National Forests, Colorado. - Government Buyer: - USDA Forest Service, Intermountain Region (CSA Intermountain 8) - Colorado Division of Water Resources (oversight and compliance) - Project Scope: - Drilling, casing, grouting, and developing a potable water well with a minimum depth of 100 feet and a production rate of at least 10 gallons per minute - Installation of 6-inch steel or PVC casing, PVC well screen, pitless adapter, bentonite or Portland cement grout, and an aluminum sanitary well cap with an integrated hand pump - Well performance testing (minimum 8-hour pump test) and comprehensive water quality testing to meet Colorado Primary Drinking Water Regulations - Products and Materials: - 6-inch steel casing (ASTM A-53) or 6-inch Sch 40 PVC casing (ASTM D-2241 or F-480) - PVC well screen (approx. 10 feet) - Pitless adapter (NFS approved) - Threaded stainless steel couplings - Portland cement grout or bentonite grout - Aluminum sanitary well cap with hand pump (Simple Pump or approved equal) - Disinfectant (chlorine or CO-approved) - Notable Requirements: - All water quality testing must be performed by a Colorado Certified Laboratory - The hand pump must be Simple Pump brand or an approved equivalent - Compliance with Forest Service and Colorado state water regulations - Small business set-aside under NAICS 237110 - No specific OEMs are mandated except for the hand pump (Simple Pump or equal); all other materials must meet specified standards.

Solicitation number 1240LT26Q0110:  is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for The Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre & Gunnison (GMUG) National Forests are reconstructing the Terrytown Administrative Site, which requires a reliable water system. A new groundwater production well is necessary to meet both the present and future water demands of the Administrative Site. The well must meet acceptable yield and water quality standards to support subsequent design of the permanent water system.
