Description
The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), U.S. Border Patrol, Program Management Office Directorate (PMOD), Communications, Command and Control (C3) organization (the Government) is considering obtaining contractor support to modernize and enhance Land Mobile Radio (LMR) network infrastructure and critical communications systems. The work will improve reliability, security, and interoperability of mission-critical communications across multiple Border Patrol Sectors, including Buffalo, Del Rio, Detroit, El Centro, El Paso, Grand Forks, Havre, Houlton, Rio Grande Valley, San Diego, Swanton, Tucson, and Yuma. Efforts include technical radio refreshes, coverage enhancements, and upgrades to support infrastructure such as solar power plants, batteries, generators, towers, and shelters.
