NASA Langley Research Center is procuring a specialized data acquisition system for advanced sensor testing and measurement: - Government Buyer: - NASA Langley Research Center (LaRC) - OEM Highlight: - Precision Filters, Inc. is the sole OEM and provider for all requested equipment - Products Requested: - 16-Channel 24-Bit Data Acquisition System (Part # SDAS16-BRG-F) - 1 unit - Supports Kulite Pressure Sensors and Static Strain Gages - Features programmable bridge excitation (0-20V @ 20mA), 5th wire temperature sensing, desktop client GUI software, and external AC/DC power supply - Includes built-in Factory Acceptance Self-Test support - Test Adapter for Performing Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) (Part # SDAS-BRG/BCC-TESTADAPTER) - 8 units - Required for FAT on SDAS16-BCC and BRG models; supports all excitation supply tests - Test Subsystem Instruments and Cables (Part # SDAS-5-TEST) - 1 set - Includes Keysight 33509B and 34465A instruments, rack mount hardware, and BNC test bus cables - Notable Requirements: - System must support both Kulite Pressure Sensors and Static Strain Gages - Test adapters are mandatory for Factory Acceptance Testing - All hardware, software, and accessories must be included for a complete, ready-to-use system - Period of Performance: - Delivery required within 60 to 90 days after receipt of order

Description

Synopsis:

NASA/NSSC has a requirement for Precision Filters SDAS System. 

NASA/NSSC intends to issue a sole source contract to PRECISION FILTERS, INC: 240 CHERRY ST | ITHACA, NEW YORK 14850 under the authority of FAR 12.102(a). It has been determined that PRECISION FILTERS, INC is the sole provider of Precision Filters SDAS System.

NASA/NSSC will be the procuring center for this effort. Performance will be located at NASA/ Langley Research Center (LARC).

The Government intends to acquire Commercial items or services using the provisions, clauses and procedures prescribed in FAR Part 12 for Commercial

The NAICS Code for this procurement is 334515.

Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 3:00 p.m. Central Standard Time on 6/17/2026. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
