Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL), managed by Princeton University for the U.S. Department of Energy, is seeking a 5-year contract for comprehensive maintenance and support of its integrated electronic physical security systems. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of Energy, Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory, Procurement Division - OEMs and Software Platforms: - RS2 AccessIT (Access Control Software) - HID PIV Class (High-Assurance Credential Validation) - Avigilon (Video Management Software/VASS) - Easy Lobby (Visitor Management System) - Products and Services Requested: - Annual software maintenance agreements for RS2 AccessIT, Avigilon VMS, Easy Lobby, and HID PIV Class - Bi-annual preventative maintenance and inspection for PACS and VASS hardware - Time and materials labor for senior systems engineers, certified security technicians, and apprentice/helpers (standard and emergency hours) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Factory-certified security systems integrators required - Rapid on-site emergency response within 4 hours - Continuous operational readiness and regulatory compliance - All work must comply with the detailed Statement of Work (SOW) for PACS and VASS - Scope includes maintenance of access control devices, video surveillance infrastructure, and server/workstation systems

Description

Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory, “PPPL”, requires a comprehensive, high-availability hardware and software maintenance support contract. This Request for Proposal (RFP) seeks proposals from qualified, factory-certified security systems integrators. The selected service provider will ensure continuous operational readiness, regulatory compliance, and rapid emergency troubleshooting for PPPL’s integrated electronic physical security platforms. 

Mandatory Compliance: All operations, installations, testing, and maintenance activities must be performed in strict accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW) for PACS and VASS, Rev 0, issued February 2026, Attachment #16.1 Covered Software Platforms & Integrations • RS2 AccessIT (Access Control Software) • HID PIV Class (High-Assurance Identity/Credential Validation) • Avigilon (Video Management Software / VASS) • Easy Lobby (Visitor Management System) Covered Field Infrastructure & Hardware • Access Control Devices: Card readers, high-assurance PIV readers, Request to Exit (REX) components, door monitoring controllers, interface panels, lock power supplies, and backup batteries. • Video Surveillance Infrastructure: Video recording servers, network switches, network storage arrays, indoor/outdoor cameras, PTZ units, and specialized environmental enclosures. • Server & Workstation Infrastructure: Access control servers, database management systems, security workstations, and monitoring consoles.
