US Coast Guard Solicits Brand Name MDF Technologies Power Supplies

The United States Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center is seeking to procure specific power supply units for its operations. - Government Buyer: - United States Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) - OEMs and Vendors: - MDF Technologies (OEM/manufacturer of requested power supplies) - Baldor-Reliance (noted as brand name restriction in requirements) - Products/Services Requested: - 21 units of Power Supply, UNINTE (NSN 6130-01-560-6282, Part # UPS1-2.4K-1G-SRNDTI-JS2E) - 16 units of Power Supply, UNINTE (NSN 6130-01-684-1998, Part # SN2000-R) - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Only brand name products from MDF Technologies (and/or Baldor-Reliance) will be accepted - Vendors must provide a letter from the OEM confirming authorized distributor or reseller status - Strict compliance with packaging, preservation, and marking standards is required - Shipping costs must be included in item pricing (FOB destination) - Vendors must be actively registered in SAM.gov and not debarred or suspended - Delivery required by specified date, with deliveries accepted Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 1 PM

Description

This procurement is being conducted on a brand name basis. Only products manufactured by MDF Technologies will be accepted.  Vendors must provide a letter from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) stating that they are an authorized distributor/re-seller.  Failure to provide this documentation will result in the vendor’s offer being deemed non-responsive.

Evaluation Criteria

1. Technical Acceptability

The Government will evaluate each quote to determine whether the offered products meet all of the requirements specified in the solicitation, including: Brand name (Baldor-Reliance) compliance. Provision of an OEM authorization letter. Compliance with all packaging, preservation, and marking requirements as specified.  Quotes that do not state that the requirement can be met will not be considered. Ability to meet or exceed the required delivery schedule.

2. Price

Quotes will be evaluated for fairness and reasonableness of price. The total evaluated price will be the sum of all line items, include shipping cost into item pricing.  Quotes with a separate line item for shipping will not be considered.

3. Past Performance

The Government may consider the vendor’s past performance with the U.S. Coast Guard or other federal agencies, if available and relevant. The Government reserves the right to use information from sources other than those provided by the vendor.

4. Responsibility

The vendor must have an active registration in SAM.gov prior to award. The vendor must not be debarred or suspended from doing business with the federal government.
