Description
The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary security zone for navigable waters offshore of Los Angeles International Airport. This security zone is necessary to ensure public safety and prevent sabotage or terrorist acts near the airport during the 2026 World Cup in Los Angeles, CA. Entry of vessels or persons into this zone is prohibited unless specifically authorized by the Captain of the Port, Los Angeles--Long Beach. The security zone will be enforced from June 11, 2026, through July 12, 2026. The zone covers all navigable waters within a designated portion of Santa Monica Bay offshore of the airport.
