The City of Upper Arlington Parks and Recreation Department is seeking proposals for comprehensive vending machine services in city parks and recreational facilities. - Government Buyer: - City of Upper Arlington, Parks and Recreation Department - Products and Services Requested: - At least nine cold beverage vending machines to be installed at multiple park locations and the Bob Crane Community Center - Machines must dispense soft drinks, sports drinks, energy drinks, juices, and water in 16 or 20 ounce non-glass bottles - Machines must be new or latest models and energy efficient - Optional snack vending machine service for the Bob Crane Community Center, with a preference for healthy snack options - Full-service support including installation, maintenance, stocking, restocking, removal, and repairs - Vendors must respond to service calls within 48 hours and complete repairs within 3 business days - Vendors are responsible for all preventative maintenance and must provide monthly sales and commission reports - Installation of electrical circuits if needed is the vendor's responsibility - Unique/Notable Requirements: - The City reserves the right to approve all product selections, vending prices, and machine placements - Vendors must submit detailed product and equipment lists, pricing, commission proposals, and references - The agreement is intended to generate revenue for the Play UA recreational scholarship program - No specific OEMs are mandated; vendors may propose their own equipment and product lines, including healthy options
