Description
The New York State Department of State, through the Office for New Americans (ONA), is seeking not-for-profit organizations to participate in its Professional Pathways Program. This program aims to support immigrant empowerment and workforce development by helping high-skilled immigrants overcome barriers to professional development through screening, training, re-credentialing, and job placement opportunities across New York State. The program is tailored to regional needs in fields such as healthcare, education, engineering, IT, and business/finance. The RFA is divided into two parts: Part A funds one not-for-profit organization in each specified region to serve as an ONA Job Coach, and Part B funds one not-for-profit organization as the statewide Professional Pathways Lead Agency.
